  • 1 jalapeño (seeds removed for less heat), finely chopped

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Gently toss until well combined. (Be careful not to mash. You want a chunky salsa, not guacamole!)

  3. Taste and adjust with extra lime juice, salt, or jalapeño heat.

  4. Serve immediately with chips, tacos, or grilled proteins.

Tip: If making ahead, cover tightly with plastic wrap pressed directly against the salsa to slow browning.
