đ Friday Night Frenzy: 11 Must-See Week 4 Matchups Set to Shake Up Fort Wayne Football |
By a guy who lives for Friday nights and still tapes his ankles before kickoff (mentally, anyway). |
Here we go! Week 4 in Northeast Indiana, and the energy is different now. Weâre officially out of the "feeling it out" phase of the season. Every team knows who they are⊠or who they better become fast. Conference standings are taking shape, and while no championships are won in September, this is exactly when theyâre lost.
This weekâs card is full of trap games, statement opportunities, and one Game of the Week that might just determine whoâs boss in the SAC.
So lace 'em up or at least tighten the chinstrap on your ballcap and letâs dive in.
đ„ Game of the Week: Fort Wayne Wayne (3-0) at Fort Wayne Snider (2-1)đ @ Spuller Stadium
Letâs not dance around it: Wayne is the real deal this year. Sitting undefeated through three, with a defense thatâs flying to the ball and a playmaker at quarterback thatâs putting serious stress on secondaries. But now comes the litmus test: Snider. On the road. Under the lights.
The Panthers are coming off a gritty win and always play their best football when their backs are against the wall, especially at home. This one will be physical, fast, and might come down to special teams.
What's at stake? The winner keeps pace (or takes control) in the SAC. The loser is playing catch-up the rest of the way.
